Complaint / review text:
I applied for a switch. Cheque Acc and Credit Card. Received an email for supporting docs on the credit card. I changed my mind on taking the card because of the fees and the rate, so I sent an email to ask them to stop with the application on the Card, you opened it anyway (without a payslip, lease agreements or bank statements - how did you do that? Reckless lending?)
Received the cheque card but not the credit card. Tried to transfer money to the new cheque account which was returned to my standard bank account. The c/card that I did not want's debit order started going off the cheque account. I now owe hundreds of rands on 2 accounts, 1 of which I am unable to use and the other that I did not want.
Tried to at least change the debit order on the card to my standard bank acc to save my credit record, but c/centre said they could not do it because of something on the cheque account being inactive - that makes no sense.
FNB is messing with my credit history. Can someone competent please call me. I want this mess reversed. Let's end this relationship now, before it gets any worse.
