I have transferred money between ABSA and NEDBANK for a very long period of time. Did it again this morning with Ref No: 1601B6B262
I made 3 calls to ABSA with no success, email and received feedback that i will be contacted within 48 hours.
No where did ABSA indicate that they are experiencing technical problems between themselves and NEDBANK, when I did the immediate payment.
ABSA went even further and said they cannot put this in writing to me, and that they cannot guarantee when the money will show in the NEDBANK account. They even went so far to say that this might be a problem on NEDBANK's side.
The whole ABSA attitude of NON CARE is unacceptable. They just don't care. I have said in the email that I need to be at the hospital at 13:00 and will need my money - NO CARE in the world. SO - they transferred the money, knowingly that it would not go through, problems apparently started yesterday already.
So - ABSA said that the money will go to the account it was deposited to... NEDBANK maybe you have an idea whats going on???
