I have been banking with Standard Bank for 37 years and was happy with their services until about 4 months ago.in June I had R3000 taken from my bank account and in August another R8000 taken from my bank account. I reported the matter to the bank and they treated me as if I was the criminal and as if I was all my fault. On the 23 September 2014 I went to draw R1500 from an ATM in Sable Square Cape Town and I received the message from Standard Bank ATM stating that there was a Technical Problem and I must contact my bank. To my horror once again Standard bank had taken the R1500 of off my account and I am still waiting for the R1500 to be refunded back to me. At the moment I have about R25.00 in my bank account. Is Standard Bank desperately in the need of money that they have to Rob their clients. My recommendation to any person do not bank with Standard Bank as they are not moving forward but you.
