Complaint / review text:
On January 2014 I was recruited by Miway consultant as I was on Iwyze Insurance. The gentlemen told me that at MiWay client doesn't pay access. I advised MiWay agent/consultant that I am willing to pay any premium as long I'm not going to pay excess. MiWay agent and I agreed as such and I decided to take the policy on the basis of "No access fee will be paid by me when I claim on the Insurance".
I advise that the previous Insurance I had, access fee was R1 500.00 and it was for this reason that I decided to join MiWay on the 25th February 2013. MiWay sent me the contract via e-mail & post mail at the address given and have been receiving correspondents as such through those modes.
On the 05/10/2014, I called MiWay consultant reporting my claim and to my surprise and shock I was told to pay an access fee of R3300. This was never communicated in any manner or whatsoever to me before I signed the contract I have with the Insurer, even after, that upon a future event occurred I would have to pay an access fee. I'm not willing to pay an excess as we have agreed with MiWay & the policy stastes that.
I would like MiWay to fix my car without aexcess as agreed on intial agreement
