I am an existing policy holder of Discovery Insure for the past few months, well i receive an email advising that my premium will increase because i do more than 1000kms a month (Y was this not explained when i took out the policy? UNETHICAL IF YOU ASK ME! So the new premium will go off as of the 1st November, i call them to understand this to advise l unfortunately wont be able to afford the new premium and leaves me no other choice but to CANCEL. I call and the call centre agent advises nothing can be done to reduce this "new premium" and to cancel I must just call in and advise them as this is on a recorded line that will be sufficient. Well last Thursday 09/10 I call them to cancel and I told this has been noted however the cancellations department will call me back within 48hours to confirm the cancellation, GUESS WHAT??? STILL NO CALL FROM DISCOVERY INUSRE. Well i am definately cancelling whether or not i get the call. Why must i chase after them???
