My husband has had insurance with all his vehicles he has owned. His current vehicle (also insured since day 1) he has had for a 1year&10months! The month of October ABSA decided that according to them he doesn't have insurance and they just deducted a extra amount of R1400! NOBODY FROM ABSA contacted my husband to find out if this is in fact correct! He obtained his proof of insurance and sent it through to Absa, now he must wait between 5 and 10 working days to get his money back? Who gave ABSA the right to just deduct money from his account as they see fit? Nobody from Absa has contacted him to keep updated on what is happening! He must continueously call them and explain the situation over and over because every time he calls it is someone else! Firstly, I want someone to contact us and let us know how money can just be debited with NO PERMISSION from your client, secondly when that money will be paid back into his account! You debited this money without permission WHY must he wait for it to be transferred back? THIS IS POOR SERVICE AND UNACCEPTABLE! I want an explanation! Mrs G Vente
