Two weeks ago I opened an Absa savings account transferred my last salary from my company in there and Absa took R3500 without any agreement from me. I am under debt counselling and made arrangements to settle all my debt in December 2014 with my debt counsellor and ABSA mail. This account was opened for my retrenchment package and pension and they took the money I was supposed to pay for Water and lights and groceries. No section 129 from them or a statement for the whole year on my Virgin account. I need this money to be reversed as soon as possible or I will go to NCR and the Ombudsman as this is blatant from me without any prior arrangements. I confirmed with a lady from Absa legal today that my debt review is not cancelled and no Section 129 was send so who gives them the right to take my last money without my consent. I could have opened a savings account anywhere but did not, this is the treatment I get. I wanted to invest 150-000-00 into my bond but is seriously re-thinking it.
