Morning, I had water pipes at my house and i have insurance with Standard bank. I registered a calim on the 20/11/2014 and the appointed the plumber. I waited and followed up on monday the 25th with Standard bank insurance and they told me that the plumber has not submitted the quotation, I asked them to appoint another plumber because i am not getting help with the current plumber, they refused. I asked them to give me a go ahead, replace the pipesso that i can have water supply to my house and send them an invoice for them to refund me, they refused. Im sitting with the house with no water for more than a week now and I am not getting assistance from Standard bank insurance. My claim reference number is 14/086676 and they appointed DC plumbers. The call centre is not helping as they promise to follow up and come back to me and the never come back this is frustrating as i do not have water in the house. NI pay my insurance on a monthl basis but have to struggle when i have problems. There is no direct person to follow up on the query, everytime you call them you have to go thruogh a call centre, explain your story to a new person and they do not care.
