I recently applied to have a second bond which is held with FNB moved to Standard Bank as my primary bond is with Standard Bank. Today I receive an sms saying that my bond payment has not gone off and my credit record will be affected. Upon calling the number given I'm told by the agent Rowan that an FP Stols changed my account details and that the account that was to be debited is the FNB bond account - which is the account that I applied to have changed. How does this happen? Because of this person's incompetence I am going to be penalized. It also raises the question whether my FNB bond will go off as it should because of whatever this FP Stols person did seems to have had a very negative impact on my account I would like for this matter to be resolved soonest and for the person responsible for thiis to be held accountable. How does a request and application to change a bond then turn into a debit going off the FNB home loan account?
I'm really annoyed that after having been a client of Standard Bank for so long and even having made the request specifically in writing so many times that this would happen.
