On Thursday 4 December I phoned the Nedbank Greenbacks help line in order to cash in some greenbacks via Makro. I was told by the consultant that I would get an sms between 24 and 48 hours from Nedbank. Their call centre ref. No. Is 71688323. This did not happen (no sms) and I phoned earlier today to query why I had not yet received the sms. I was told that it was because they did not have a cell phone number to send the sms to. This is pure nonsense as one of their identification questions to me was to confirm my cell phone number which I did. They therefore do have the number on record. I was also told that I would receive the sms on Monday (8th.).
