Had USD funds come into USD account, phoned Nedbank Global, got exchange rate and consultant said funds will be transferred during cause of the day or next day but it never came. The following day, after phoning Nedbank Global for almost an hour but kept on getting transferred to the wrong people. Eventually I got to the right department after so many calls. I told the consultant I needed the funds be exchanged from USD to Rands and transferred to the current account. They told me I needed to type a letter which I did and received the funds in the current account the following day. Nedbank Global few days after that, phoned to say that I booked another rate before that, and I must account for the difference as exchange rates fluctuates hourly/daily. Now Nedbank has deducted our account with the first booked exchange rate and deducted the difference in todays exchange rate which now the company looses over R10000 is absolutely not acceptable. When I phoned I gave them references, the amounts were the same, how could their incompetent staff have not picked up that there was a already booked rate? And now the company have lost over R10000.00. This is!
