I wrote to the chase credit card company about charging me $39 late fee. I asked that this fee be remove because I had already sent in 3 payments which was more than the required amount. I made a payment of $100 on 2-20-09, $100 on 2-28-09, $150 on 3-7-09. I should not be getting any late fees making these kinds of payments to my account. Late fees have increase with this company and they price gouching consumers with late fees.
Customers like myself have no control over when the mail is delivered to the company or how long it takes for them to process payments. Weekends and holidays dates my also factor as to when mail is delivered and process times with chase. The company is not taking all this into consideration. I want this late fee removed from my account. Why are credit card companies doing this to their customers? This is not helping our recession
Do not want negative ratings showing up on my credit report.
