Complaint / review text:
On the 31st of December 2014 I called Metropolitan Life and I spoke to a call centre agent named "Julius", I informed him that I was surrendering my policy and he ask me to email him the required documents and I did just that he then informed me that I would receive my payment in the next 3 to 5 working days. I called the call centre on the 19th of January 2015 to follow up on the payment and I spoke to Buhle who then informed me that my documents were not processed because Julius kept my documents in his personal email inbox and did not forward them to Cape Town being their Head Office that pays out, Buhle then promised to forward the documents. I have been calling from the19th to date with no assistance from the call centre I am sent from one consultant to the next and I finally spoke to Pride from the call centre who then promised payment would be done on the 21st till this day no payment has been done their team leader promised to contact me but did not. I am unhappy with this company and I will never ever use it again or recommend it to anyone because they are quick to take your money but will give you when they have to pay you out.
