Called discovery on Monday 09/02/2015, to reduce my premiums, spent practically the whole day on the phone with discovery's incompetent call centre staff to get a quote, but no quote was sent to me, scheduled appointment with broker to reduce quote hoping it would be the quicker route and that he would assist to half my premiums, yesterday I got a quote from discovery with a reduction of R68.29. Unfortunately the broker cannot give me a direct quote due to "red tape" so I have to wait again for the call centre to issue a quote according to their specifications, not mine. I have spent 2 weeks with discovery trying to get assistance to reduce my premium to half the amount, I have never liaised with a more incompetent company than discovery, I will not pay the normal premiums on my policy. Discovery, it's quite clear that you are not equipped to assist me, please cancel my policy & refund ALL my premiums, had about enough of discovery's shenanigans, There are more efficient and competent companies with better rates, higher cover & lower premiums and with more efficient and hands on service.
