During January 2015 Capitec Bank offered me a personal loan. I specifically requested the consultant to ensure that the debit order is processed on the first day of every month as my salary is only paid on the last day of the month. I received a long explanation why I had to change the date but that should not be a problem. I just needed to visit a branch and all will be arranged. Then the trouble started! I visited the local branch twice a week with all my documents, I sent Capitec email daily explaining the problem. The local branch closest to me is in Hatfield Pretoria and they also sent pay suggestions to their Head Office. Low and behold, it is the end of February and I am no closer to resolving the problem. Capitec will never every receive a compliment from me again and I will make sure that I tell anybody and everybody about this embarrassing situation.
