Turbo tax was happy to take their $100 or so fee, but when the last number of our account was left off, our return was sent back to them. They never contacted us once, even though they had our name, address, email, and phone number.
We called them after not receiving anything and they said they would mail us a hard check. We waited several weeks and nothing. We called back, they hadn't sent it and gave us a web site to use to get it. It locked us out of their system after we tried to use it and they said the check was now going to be re-sent back to the Irs in 5 days.
Several weeks later the IRS still hadn't received it from turbo tax, as apparently they hold everyone's returns to send back all at once, ours almost 6 weeks later. Then they told us that it would be another 8 to 12 weeks after the IRS received it until we would get it. Every other website and company I've used requires double input of such important things like account numbers and passwords when registering, but apparently turbotax doesn't care as long as they get their $100.
What a nightmare it's been dealing with them, and the subsequent customer service has been rude, ignorant, and untruthful. Never again will I use turbo tax or any of the Santa Barbra tax products group subsidiaries.
