Complaint / review text:
My husband deposited his 401K loan check to our checking account with CHASE BANK on May 4,2015. It was supposed to clear on the 6th.
On the 7th my husband was paying his lunch and was told he had no money in his account. CHASE had frozen his account including what we already had in there before the 401K deposit. We have direct deposit to CHASE BANK. All our paychecks go directly to our checking account with CHASE.
Today (May 11,2015) CHASE told my husband that they had closed our account. No money will be available for ten (10) business days. We are scheduled to go out of the country in a few weeks.
We have not paid our mortgage and other bills. How could CHASE BANK "legally" do this this horrible move to a poor consumer?
