Complaint / review text:
I purchased the Navy Visa Buxx card for my son to use while he's away for the summer. The card was ordered on 5/22 a friday and I paid $5 extra for it to arrive within 2-3 buisness days (according to the website).
I was expecting the card to arrive by the 28th, no later than the 29th. I called customer service on 6/1 and was told that the card wasn't shipped out until the 26th because the 25th was a holiday and I should get it within the next 2 days. It's been 2 days and still no card. I was told that the package would be delivered by UPS and after 3 days their suppose to provide me with a tracking number.
Magically UPS didnt provide the box with a tracking number and they don't know where the box is. The most that customer service can do is issue another card and send it through the standard mail, which will be another 7-10 days. Customer service says express shipping is 3-5 buisness days but I told them the website says 2-3 buisness days. So at this point I'm pissed because my son will be leaving soon and we don't have the card and I wasted $5 on express shipping.
They have no clue where the csrd is. Navy Federal needs to update the website with the TRUTH!
Customers need to know that EXPRESS SHIPPING IS 3-5 BUISNESS DAYS AND NOT 2-3, AND THAT THE DAYS START FROM THE DAY THAT IT SHIPS AND NOT FROM THE DAY THAT IT'S ORDERED. I'm very disappointed with the service and surprised because my experience has been great up until this point.
