Outsourced for a minor collection from century link, contacted me and requested immediate payment... Understandable.
Mailed a payment right away with the information THEY provided. A week later after the check cleared eith deposit transactions from century link, this company calls me again saying they had no proof of payment. After providing them the deposit transaction number they then demanded a copy of the deposited check as proof. I hung up.
Female agent was extremely rude, overbearing and aggressive. That's fine for someone who DOESNT pay. We did and she was still rude.
I've never had to deal with any collection for 27 years...
This one was a simple oversight and miscommunication between century link, this company and myself (we switched carriers).
This was paid same day. This company needs to work on its collection tactics because willing paying clients shouldn't be disrespected or treated like garbage.
