I co-signed two student loans for my two kids with Chase. They are up to date and never had a problem until a few months ago when Chase assigned AES to service loans.
If you are just a few days late you will receive a collection letter and calls. I threatened to complain my state's Attorney generals office and I got a call from Chase apologizing. Yet a month later the calls continued.
I think they are trying to force students to do automatic pay which I do not like because of all the information being hacked. I am 57 years old and have stellar credit.
Complain to your attorney general if you have the same problem.
