From day one I have had billing issues with this company. Right at the point where they transitioned to Synchrony Bank. To start my balance changed because Ashley furniture was unable to deliver the living room set I ordered in a safely manner (the delivery personnel damaged the walls trying to forcely put the couches in the living room), despite that the company never reassessed the amount due and therefore the minimum payments. I had to get on the phone and walk them thru it. Then I never received billing statements, even though I never signed up for paperless statements. And lastly not only that the customer service representatives don't speak English clearly, they have no compassion when it comes to a late payment. Their fee is about 60% of the min pmt. Due. At least that's what it was for me, monthly pmt is $66 and late fee $38.
And don't even think about speaking to a supervisor, not only that you would have to wait almost an hour, but also they will make you feel like you committed a crime because the payment was processed 2 days after the due date. (Paid on a Monday, due date was on Friday). Overall, as soon as I'm done paying off this furniture (which it will be pretty soon), no more of my business for Ashley furniture or Synchrony Bank. Very disappointed, will take my business elsewhere.
