Sell stocks. Great. Now transfer money to your bank account. Shh. Don't tell the account holder that it takes a couple days to settle.instead transfer the funds and charge interest. Yes, ladies and gentlemen I've been duped. Nowhere on the cash transfer page does it indicate that your "cash" is not available yet nor does it tell you that transferring that chunk of cash now instead of two days from now will cost you a hefty sum.
I asked the Representative why it doesn't indicate anything to that effect on the cash withdrawal page. He said, "I thought you knew." I asked him how many people fall for this scheme. He said it happens all the time. I asked him if a warning could be posted for those of us that "didn't know"."Ohh, " he said, "that's a good idea." It clearly says "amount of cash available for withdrawal" not "how much would you like to borrow". It's sad how deceitful companies are. I've been with TD ameritrade for 15 years. Guess they lost another client.
