I've had my NetSpend card for about 4 months. This is now the THIRD time I've had a hold issue with my card. There is no basis for the hold - and the customer service people aren't in the US so they typically can't help me. Holds seem to happen at night or weekends, when I need funds for purchases and I have to wait until Mon-Fri to contact someone at corporate to get these ridiculous issues worked out. This is now the third time an issue has come up. It may now be time to withdraw my funds and cancel this card. The hassle factor isn't worth it. I've never had a card with so many issues.
I'll go back to using BlueBird or GoBank. It's now 1 am and I have purchases I need to make and I can't get anyone on the phone to resolve the mysterious hold on my account. There is over $2000 on this card and I need access to funds this evening. Already called corporate... Again... And left a voice mail because the staff on the 800# (who are outside of the US) are usually worthless.
