Complaint / review text:
I wanted to find out why Experian deducted points from my credit score for inquiring into mortgages with various companies. I looked at 5 possible mortgage companies last year. This year I can't even get a store card because they hammered my score so badly. I have never done anything to warrant being discriminated against in this way. I looked at the process and it occurred to me that Experian has no legal right to count inquiries as a reason to deduct points from someone's credit score. This practice prevents people from finding the best deals, and if they do it, they will not be told by Experian that this has been done until they apply for credit.

E. G. Buy a home, live in it, find the roof leaks and needs fixing, apply for a short term loan for the money to fix the problem, get slammed by the banks! This is a discriminatory practice and Jason will not pass my request onto the Board of Directors at Experian to ask them to cease and desist in this practice. The Fair Credit Reporting Act does not give these credit reporting companies the right to deduct points from people's credit scores for making inquiries for credit. I put it to the people of this country that you are being discriminated against in an insidious way by Experian and you need to stand with me and bring these people to Justice. They destroy your good standing and then you end up paying more for the credit products you need to survive.

Stand up to them, support me and get the Supreme Court to decide if this practice Experian has adopted is legal. It affects you. No one at Experian is responding to my request to have this debated and ruled on in the next meeting of the Board of Directors at Experian. Even the CEO, Don Roberts' email address bounces. Finding email addresses for any of the officers is difficult, and actually pinning someone down for an answer to this crime is currently being diverted by Mr. Jason who refuses to pass my request to the Board of Directors.

Who are these people that run Experian that they should have more power over our lives than the government of the United States itself, and yet cannot be held accountable by the people?! They have no right to do this to any of us. Imho, this is a class action lawsuit just waiting to happen. Anyone Interested?
