I applied for a loan with Lending Tree. About two days later, I got an email from them telling me that they were unable to match me with a lender. So, I called them to ask why they were unable to match me a lender. They were unable to tell me why. At this time, I asked the rep to provide me with letters from all of the lenders that work with them and why they were unable to help me with a loan. The Lending Tree supervisor refused to do this. The law states that if a person is turned down for any reason by a financial company, they must by law tell you why. Lending Tree refused to provide this info.
