There is not enough space to write about what an absolute nightmare Citi has been to work with. I have been trying to get my loan modified for several months and can never get a straight answer from anyone at Citi. Every time I call, nobody knows the status and I just keep getting transferred from one department to the next. Sometimes they tell me just to wait and I will be contacted. Sometimes they tell me they need me to send in more info (which they already have). They have never ever sent me anything is writing or called me.
I always have to call them to find out my status and of course everyone in this forum knows what a wonderful experience it is to call Citi and be put on hold and transferred around. I can’t tell you how many hours/days I have spent on the phone trying to get an answer. Is anyone at Citi reading these forums? How can the execs at Citi still have their jobs? Is it really that difficult to keep accurate records and provide customer service? If anyone is looking for a mortgage, do not ever go through Citi.
