Complaint / review text:
We have been called several times a day by representatives of "Bankers Life". When I tell them to put us on their "do not call" list, they say "Federal Law says I have to call their 800 number and register".
Which is false. I ask for the 800 number. They "do not have it". Another lie.
I tell them so, and order them to put me on their "do not call list". Then I hang up. The number on my caller ID is a local number, without an area code.
When I call that number, I get the Verizon tone and recorded voice saying that number has been disconnected. This is obviously a bogus operation by a bogus company.
