Complaint / review text:
I am a military veteran who graduated college using his GI Bill which did not ever actually pay for my college degree. I was assured by the military, the college, my teachers and community that my modest state college education would be paid for after having served overseas in a military campaign and paying into the GI Bill. It was a scam!
I am being harrased on a weekly basis, sometimes daily, by ACS and their guaranture by automated telephone machine message and agents who continue to call my cell phone and use hours of air-minutes. I am always polite, never hang up the phone and repeatedly confirm with them my SSN, Phone, Name, aong with the phrase I do not have any new information. I have always been polite and informative with their staff, yet they continue to harrass me and calling numerours times during work, while I am at church on Sunday mornings, and even after I get off the phone after having spent sometimes half an hour explaining my circumstances over and over again to different people from this institution.
I am a military veteran who used his GI Bill to pay for college and was not afforded the opportunity to have financial aid provided for me in a timely and fair manner while I was a student at The College of New Jersey. I have always been honest, cooperative, and informative to ACS and the Student Financial Aid office at The College of New Jersey. I can not afford to pay a bill that I already served in the military to have paid.in addition I also can not afford the numerous weekly, sometimes daily phone calls that the automated computer system ACS uses to my cell phone which is costing me hundreds of air-minutes. Please help me. I have done all I can do, and this institution will not treat me fairly or with respect to my rights as a consumer and a US Military Veteran who was never given adiquate funding throug the GI Bill, US Marines and US Army National Guard to pay for his college degree.
