My experience with GE Money Bank, has been frustrating. Three separate times I had tried to make a online payment. Thinking my payment went through because of their confirmation at the end of the making the payment, only for two weeks later to receive information that my payment did not go through because they could not find my bank or account. The account is a Chase Bank account, one of the largest banks. Because they considered it late, they added fees. I even spent time going through the bank information setup online with a customer service the first time it happened. Their customer service department is in India and are no help. They insisted I put in the wrong information. They gave me the number they had on record for my checking account and it was wrong. There is no way I put in the information 4 times incorrectly.
It is a racket, either they are manually changing numbers in order to charge additional fees or they have a major problem with their software. They told me to send in a payment. I don't feel good about that either, I am concerned they will say they did not receive the payment. I am going to send in the remaining payment and see what happens. I wish I never signed up for this credit card and afraid for my personal information they have in their possession. Stay away from GE Money, unless you want to be frustrated and pay fees because of the way they handle the information given to them.
