Dec. 11,2011 I ordered 2 gift cards for $50 each with my points.
The gift cards were to be a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law. When I didn't receive them in a timely manner, I called Discover and inquired as to where they were. I was told that they were ordered and that they would be coming. I did NOT get them for Christmas, which was upsetting, but figured that they would be coming soon.
I waited until after New Year's and when nothing arrived in the mail, I again called Discover. I was then told that they were E CARDS—whatever that is. I had specifically said that I wanted gift cards!!! The person that I spoke to said that she would reissue the gift cards and that I should receive them soon.
Well, I did get 1 $50 gift card, but the other one was only $25 dollars! Now, I had to call again to straighten out my account and have them send me another $25 card. I am VERY upset as these were supposed to be for a special Christmas gift and it was ruined.
Now I'm still waiting!!! What is the point of getting reward points when it is such a hassle to redeem them???!!!
