Complaint / review text:
My mom and dad took out a long term care policy with Banker's Life and Casualty in 1998. They have paid $350 a month for the policy every month since. My dad has alzheimer's, diagnosed 4 years ago. My mom is taking care of him at home but has a home health co that comes in a couple times a week to help out. Bankers has refused to pay or reimburse. They do it using delaying tactics.
She files a claim. They wait 30 days then ask for more info. We supply it. They wait 30 days and deny the claim. We file appeal. 30 days, they need more info.
We have hired an attorney, got some of the claims paid and then Banker's continue doing the same thing.
I hope there is a special for the people who work and run Banker's Life and Casualty. If you work there you know what they are doing. How do you live with yourself?
