Complaint / review text:
Contacted FIA to lodge a complaint against Ashley Furniture Company which they supposedly investigated. Because I signed a receipt of the furniture I have been told there is nothing they can do.
The leather sofa was ripped when delivered and I did not see it. Ashley claims that the delivery person and their store representative told me to look at the furniture to assure their were no problems. That is a lie. According to the information Ashley supplied FIA a complaint wasn't made until the day after delivery - that is a lie.
It was made less than an hour and a half after delivery. Ashley also stated my daughter called them - that is a lie.
No one at Ashley ever spoke to either of my daughters.
Apparently FIA believes anything told to them by the merchant - not the customer. That is unforgivable!
