Complaint / review text:
After 15 years doing business with Freedom, I sold my house and the title company handling the sale paid off my mortgage in July. Freedom still took their loan payment from my bank account in August.
I have called several times in the last 3 weeks trying to get my payment back that was taken wrongly. I keep getting promises from Freedom by not my money back. What a poor excuse for customer service. I would never use them again for another loan given this experience.
If I had ever missed a payment they would be all over me I'm sure. But when it is the other way around they could care less.
Where I come from, if you take something by mistake, you put it back.
They will not even agree to send it back to my bank account (ACH) where they took it, but only promise to send a check.

A VP contacted me and worked to resolve my problems.
