I would make a college loan payment online to Nelnet. My Nelnet account would say I had made my monthly payment, even sending me a confirmation email for the payment.
Then I would get an email from Nelnet, about a month later, saying I was late on my payment. I'd look @ my bank account & see that Nelnet had never taken anything out. Then I checked my Nelnet account it showed no sign that I had ever tried to make the payment. I tried emailing Nelnet & never got a response back after waiting several days.
Then getting another late payment email I called Nelnet & was able to make a payment.
I was told that I must have had the wrong account # but I know I didn't because I had previously made successful payments from that account & I never edited or changed the numbers that Nelnet had for that account. There was no reason for this & it is not the first time I've had problems with Nelnet.
