Unprofessional, dishonest and beyond frustrating. Our experience was similar to the others.
They called us and offer a rate of 3.5 in July 2012. It is December and we still have not closed the loan. We completed our part in August. A "streamline" VA refinance and Freedom Mortgage has the loan.
Horrible customer service. First word out of everyone's mouth "well you did not talk to me." Near as we could tell we had no loan officer and no one was interested in closing the loan. We waited for 3 hours to close the loan with the notary but documents never came. Ja'Rod called to reschedule like it was no big deal.
No apology and the excuse for wasting our time was that the balance of the mortgage had changed so the documents had to be redone. Really? I guess that would be a little more plausible if the loan wasn't already with Freedom Mortgage. We will find another company.
Freedom Mortgage clearly did not want to honor the terms they offered. Do not waste your time.
