Nelnet website is VERY difficult to log in.
Every few months I must request a loan status update of either unemployed or employed at a level too low to make my payments e. G. Poverty level.
If I do not update my employment or income status every few months, I will be considered a late payer and reported to the Credit Bureau.
They make it SOUND LIKE they are easy to reach through an 800 number or through the website.
The frequency of the required updates is very unfair. These are NEW government loan changes, but NelNet makes it nearly impossible to comply because they are so hard to communicate with and require updates so often.
Specific Loss - Inability to comply with new government regulations.
Specific Loss - Bad to Poor communication with loan service provider. POOR quality service.
The loss is not financial - the loss is poor to bad service quality.
