Received a collection letter from Convergent Outsourcing this past Saturday, April 6,2013. Called them first thing Monday morning to discuss thier letter with them regarding another non-existent account and the representative Jessica stated that the account is no longer in their office and she directed me to the original creditor with whom I spoke with on Saturday and they informed me that have no accounts in my name or with my information in their system.
This Convergent company is fraudulently attempting to collect money claiming its on behalf of legitimate creditors. I was advised by these creditors to contact the Attorney General and file a fraud complaint against Convergent. Isnt sort of weird how I get a letter in a saturday and by the first business day after I receive their letter the account is magically no longer in their office? Thats because I left them a message on saturday regarding their letter and they wiped the account from their system so theres no trace of them trying to commit fraud.
They claim they got the informatiin from original creditor and they verified there is and never was any account with them in my name!!! Fraud fraud fraud
