My Mortgage was recently transfered to Midland. I sent my payment in on 24 July and as of August 5th, Midland has not processed the payment.
I called customer service and all they said that it must have been lost in the mail-I have never had payments from any type of transactions lost in the mail. I suspect that Midland is not staffed properly to accept all the First Horizon Mortgages that it recently took over.
In the future I will need to consider sending in my payments by register mail, have written proof that they received it, and charge Midland a fee if they fail to cash my check in a timely fashion.
