When I first report on the 9th of February 2015 that small amounts were allocated for payment that I did not authorised on my credit cards, I was told to wait until it went through before ABSA could deal with it. To my despair I saw at the end of last month not only that thousands of rand went off both my credit cards to the same unauthorised entity but nothing has been done to cancel or refund it!!!
On the 2nd of March 2015, I phoned again, emailed again, AND immediately cancelled all my cards and tried to close the accounts BUT even now on the 12 of March I saw MORE deductions went through in March!
I am fed up with this poor service and ABSA wasting MY money due to their incompetence. On the 2nd of March I was told that because I gave my credit card details online, this was not a situation but a dispute situation. Now more than a month since it all started I have to pay lost card fees, wait more than a month for disputes to get back to me, pay penalties on arrears and I am told that because it was not a transaction I have to wait for the dispute division to see if I will get my money back.
