Failure to submit my paid up letter to Transunion

Urgent!!! I have been listed on Transunion regarding a hub account from 16years ago, I have done full payment and sent proof of payment to Blake & associates on the 25/02/2015, I requested a paid up letter which was only received on the 10/03/2015 after numerous phone calls to Blakes, I was advised by Transunion that as soon as they receive documents from Blake and associates to confirm proof of payment, they will clear my name, as per Blake & associates Natalie Gengan (manager), I was advised that Nedbank has advised that the turnaround time for the clearance is 60 days, I advised her by email that I need to apply for a bond and all my credit applications are being declined due to this account but once again I had no joy... I requested further details from Natalie via email to follow this up with consumer council, to this time there is no response from Nedbank or Blake& associates, According to Transunion debt collectors have a deadline being 60 days to send paid up letters which means it can be done from day 1 to 60, why cant it be done sooner, i am now placed in a predicament where I need to apply for a Bond urgently and I am still listed at transunion, totally unfair...
