I had taken out a cash advance, which according to the guidelines would be taken out/repaid from my next direct deposit.instead, they changed the repayment procedure to come out of any deposit over $100 starting 9/15/08. I was informed my advance would be exempt from this new Washington state procedure as I had taken the advance prior to the 15th. I made my in-person deposit and checked my account the next day. The cash advance repayment was taken out of this deposit and NSF charges x 4 were applied to my account at $170 total.

Then, after being on and off the phone numerous times that day to correct this to no avail and leaving only messages the the branch manager, I checked my account on the 17th and saw 2 of the 4 NSF charges had been reversed, BUT 4 new NSF charges had been added to all now totalling NSF charges of $210. If the advance would not have been taken out as I had been told, there would have been no NSF charges assessed as the money would have been there to pay all the outstanding charges.

I have once again been on the phone to get this corrected and find out why only 2 of the first 4 were reversed. No matter who you call, you're told you must go through [the] opening branch. The 800 number won't even help, though they are simpathetic and wished they could - yea, right!

They gave charged my account $210 in NSF charges and are indicating this is too high of a reversal to do. They will work on it. All the while, more items clear and more NSF charges get assessed.
