I recently switched Banks to FNB and completed 2 debit order switching forms. One a week ago and other 2 weeks ago. Both forms were completed with no information ommited. The one I completed and sent myself, the other was completed and submitted at the Florida Branch. My salary is due to paid on 15 April. I was just informed now that the second form was also rejected for no valid reason which is unknown to me. I was just infomred by fnb call centre that my other application was also rejected with the reason supplied, incomplete salary information yet all the relevant information and infomration as contained on my previous bank statement is included.
The form contains all my debit order information and was signed on both occasions. It appears they are unable to meet the deadline of 15 April to change the debit orders and the staff in debit order switching department just rejected the request. Troughout this whole process, I did not receive any communication whatsover.
This situation means that all my debit orders are still on my old bank account, yet my salary is going into my new account all because of a lack of performance on fnb's part
