I drew money at the ATM at the Engen Garage on Delmas Road, close to De Villabois road, in Pretoria This was on the 6 March 2015. The transaction was finished and i got an sms that the money has been deducted from my account. But then all of a sudden, before the money was dispensed, the screen said: " Jammer die masjien is buite werking, gebruik n ander masjien."
I went to the guys working in the garage and they said i need to call the bank. I called the number on the ATM and they said there needs to be an investigation. I bank with Capitec. Capitec send me an sms on 18 March saying: Please be advised your withdrawel dispute has been declined as the transaction has been sucessful. Of course the transaction was sucessfull but i didnt get my money. I called Capitec bank and I spoke to a lady who said i must email her everything again. I have sent an email again today the 10th of April to ask for an update, but haven't received anything yet. It is ridiculous. I also said that i will get the camera footage. And if Standard bank did a recon and cash up on that day's atm, they could have seen that i am not lying. But not to even get back to me is ridiculous.
