Complaint / review text:
I received a letter from Mazda Fin in December 2014 indicating that I have completed the finance agreement on my Mazda2 and that I should contact 0860 667 667 to request the original NATIS and paid-up documents.
I did this on 22 Jan 2015 with reference no CZ150103057 and it was arranged that the documents would be couriered to my nearest ABSA branch within 3 working days and that the branch would contact me once they have received it.
After 2 weeks of no notification, I contacted the call center again and was told that the documents were sent to "The Dealer" and that some unknown person to me, had taken possession of the documents and signed for them.
To date I have made 4 additional call to try and arrange for the delivery of the documents to me but I get the same story every time and nothing is done to rectify the error in any way.
I have also contacted the regional sales manager (Riaan Naude) at Ford, who requested the call reference number, but also with no result.
I wish to sell the vehicle but can not do it without the NATIS document and do not know who to turn to next?
My request is for ABSA to take responsibility for the error and to deliver the original documents to me.
