Complaint / review text:
After my local Standard Bank ATM withheld my SB Cheque card for no apparent reason, I called in to report it. Replacing the card was the only option, but after 14 days and two attempts at card delivery to the wrong branch and numerous calls I have given up.
Dear Standard Bank. I need working Internet Banking, and I don't have time to chat with your call centres for hours. As I am effectively locked out of my account due to maladministration, I will use another bank account until you have.
1. Delivered my replacement card to either my work or home address.
2. Reactivated my Internet Banking account
3. Credited my Internet Banking "Service" fee for the period that I have been locked out.
Please do not contact me for any other reason other than arranging for card delivery.
