This complaint starts months ago.
After having my bank account with Standard Bank for over 10 years, all of a sudden it becomes un-fica'd.
WITHOUT even my knowledge they freeze my account.
After being stranded without access to my only funds (I only banked with standard) I had to beg borrow and just to organize payments. I missed out on some very important deals because I could not access my account.
Eventually I get my Fica in place. Now with back up Capitect account in case this happens again.
My account now has set its internet banking limit to R0,??? Standard bank, can we think here. I go through all the effort of setting up internet banking, only to choose have a limit of R0 on standard? Poor show.
Any ways now that my limit is reset to a reasonable amount. I find that another gentlemans ID doc is linked under my account? Scary knowing that some Charlie can come in and access all my accounts with his ID.
Then to Make matters worse, my account has been placed on freeze again as my first FICA docs are incorrect?
For a bank I have been with for over 10 years, you sure do treat your customers well.
