Complaint / review text:
I was doing my books for the auditors when i came upon bank statements for April 2014 which was missing some transactions.
I tried to download it but apparently, Standard Bank, is the only Bank where you are not able to download more than 6 months of bank statements.
I contacted my business banker at Castle Walk on 24 March 2015 and she wrote a letter to Bizdirect asking for the statements. She also told me that i will have to pay R50 for the statements.
She also told me that i will have to wait between 6-8 working days for the statements which is absolutely ridiculous.
On the 8th of April i contacted her again asking for the statements. She then send me a ref. No 7004743403 and told me that we should have it before or on the 10th of April 2015.
We are still waiting
I've been a client from Standard Bank for 2 decades now but it is the end of my relationship with you.
You are 10 years behind other Banks and yet you are the most expensive and have the worst service ever.
How long do i have to wait for a R50 bank statement from you?
