I am utterly disgusted with the service I have been receiving from Nedbank. Last week I was continuously experiencing problems with my debit card whereby the merchants were obtaining error messages when I swiped my card. The errors stated that the bank needs to be contacted, however the transactions were going off on my account. Then, 10 minutes later, the transactions were reversed. This caused a lot of issues and frustration, and I had to phone in to your customer line and speak to consultants that were very unprofessional and unwilling to help. Today I receive a notification that R1086 was deducted from my account. I phoned Nedbank to query what debit order this is, only to be told that it is for my Nedbank personal loan. I am under debt review, which Nedbank is aware of! Why is Nedbank deducting money from my account, without my permission??? Especially when I am under debt review and I have been paying my debt review since December 2013??? This is unauthorised and without my consent. I will not tolerate this. I am hugely disappointed with Nedbank and I will be taking my account elsewhere.
