To Whom it may concern,
My wife Jackie Janse van Vuuren cancelled her funeral policy with Hollard beginning of April 2015 and received the confirmation SMS from Hollard confirming this.
Then Hollard debited my wife's account of the amount of R255 1 May 2015 again after the policy has been cancelled.
She phoned Hollards and complaint about it and she received an email that she will have her money within 16 days and then yesterday she received a SMS telling her she won't get her money back.
According to me the policy was cancelled April and NO FURTHER deductions should have been made May 2015 from her bank account.
Hollards needs to refund my wife the R255 within this month still. If I do not get any positive feedback from Hollards today I will have no choice but to open a criminal case against Hollards for transaction and of money from an individual's bank account after the policy has been cancelled already.
