In March of 2014, an Escrow analysis of my account was performed and I was notified that the Escrow was short. The notice read that if I paid the shortage, my mortgage would be a specified amount. If I failed to pay the shortage, my mortgage payment would increase. Well, I paid more than the shortage amount, by the deadline date and Ocwen never made the adjustment to my mortgage amount. I have struggled with them to make the correction since the beginning of April 2014. Here it is May 13th and the end of the grace period is approaching. My account was transferred from one department to another in the midst of the Escrow analysis and this created the current monster. They have my money for the Escrow AND for the mortgage for May of 2014. I remain stuck in this purgatory with the awful customer service for Ocwen. If I had a choice other than to sell my home in order to get away from Ocwen, I would take it.
